place. If you want to start looking for casino or hotel accommodations in the
city, you'll need to consider what visa options there are available. Many
people will choose the faster route by getting their visa once they reach
Dubai, but this can be difficult! There are limited options when it comes to
tourist visas. It's best when booking reservations to look into something that
gives you more time, like perhaps an individual or group visa for Dubai. To get
a Dubai visa on- arrival, one of the most popular travel destinations in the
world, the general rule is that one has to get it before arrival though you can
get it at the airport if you want to stay only for a few days.

for your situation. We aim to help you determine which Dubai visa will be most
appropriate for your trip whether it's an Arrival Dubai visa or Dubai visa
applied on a prior basis.
What is a visa on Arrival?
Typically, a visa on arrival (VOA) is granted at the
airport, and that is where you receive your VOA. These are obtained directly at
the immigration office of that particular airport. It's imperative to
understand that VOs are granted to people entering via air transportation, not
by land or sea vessel.
Does Dubai offer a visa on arrival?
Dubai is the city of dreams. It has a lot of things one
wants to see and do, so there's certainly definitely no such thing as too many
options. The only issue with having so many choices is deciding which ones to
choose. Yes, Dubai does have a visa on arrival for many nationalities. The
first step toward obtaining a Dubai visa is to find out if your nationality is
eligible because not all nationalities are eligible for a visa upon entry into
the UAE.
The chart above shows a list of countries that are
eligible for a visa on arrival in the United Arab Emirates. Notably, India is
not part of this list. Moreover, obtaining a visa upon arrival only allows
visitors to stay in the country for thirty days at best, and from there it's
important to be mindful of the date by which one must get back home. As you can
see, it's possible to receive a visa even if you are staying in Dubai for
business purposes only. A visa of a stay period of 30 days is issued by
authorities upon entry of UAE. In other words, upon arriving in Dubai one
cannot get an extension preventing them from having to take their trip all over
again - only the United Kingdom has this privilege.
Can Indian nationals avail the service
of Dubai Visa on-Arrival?
As of May 2017, a visa on arrival is granted to Indian
citizens if they hold a valid US visa or a Green card. They must be residing in
the US or be a resident of the European Union. In addition, an airport transit
visa is also issued by the authorities but only if the transit time does not
exceed 24 hours from entry at Dubai airport.
The only time that Indians can get a free 14-day Dubai visa on
arrival in Dubai is if they fulfill the above criteria. However, there's no
chance of getting a free visa on arrival for Indians otherwise. Indians have to
apply for a Prior Dubai visa.
How to apply for a Dubai
visa-on-arrival?
If you're flying into Dubai to get a visa on arrival, it
can be very useful to know which airlines are approved for landing in the city.
The airlines that are accepted include Etihad, Air Arabia, Emirates, Air
Astana, Fly Dubai, Turkish Airlines, and Indigo Airlines. Upon arriving in
Dubai, it’s important to prepare for at least three hours of wait time when
visiting the immigration office where you will apply for your visa on arrival.
Why Dubai visa on arrival not
recommended?
There is a long queue of visa on arrival applicants at
the immigration office when trying to visit Dubai. The likelihood of the
country changing or updating the eligibility criteria on short notice is high.
In addition, there is no guarantee that a person will be allowed entry into
Dubai if they're only holding a visa on arrival. That's why a 30-day advance Dubai tourist visa can be a viable option for many travelers!
